Modbus-RTU interface
A powerful 6 axis controller in EdingCNC Pro-line of CNC controllers. High step frequency, up to 400kHz, and lots of I/O to build professional CNC equipment. Through its Modbus-RTU interface the controller can be expanded with more functionality.
By using industry-standard box header (IDC) connectors it’s possible to simply connect the board to own hardware interfaces. Optional also additional breakout boards are available to provide you with the ability to wire each in and output directly to the controller.
It is powered by 24V making it simple to integrate into an industrial environment in which 24V is common. Also, almost all inputs are also suitable for 24V, whereby it is also possible to configure some inputs for an NPN or PNP application.
For 3D printing applications, 4 separate outputs are available that share one axis output which can be controlled separately through AUX outputs, giving the possibility to control up to 4 extruders. And finally, the CNC7xx series has the unique ability to control the PWM output during the movement of the axis, making it especially useful for laser applications.
